Up to the minute blues news! This blog contain information about the Crossroads Blues Society from Northern Illinois. Crossroads Blues Society is a non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to keep the blues alive with our Blues in the Schools programs. We also put on the Byron Crossroads Blues Festival (held annually in downtown Byron, IL) and the new Field of Blues Festival at Rockford Riverhawks Stadium in June.

If thunderstorms come we can more the event indoors. The local church All Saints Lutheran Church in Byron has agreed to allow us to use their facility to host the concert in inclement weather. Rain or shine this concert is a go! If we are not at the park, we will be at All Saints Lutheran Church at 624 Luther Drive in Byron, just about 2.5 miles east of the parks location right off Illinois Rte 2.
